As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring that the store operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of merchandising and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and enhance customer experience Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies Manage payroll processes and ensure accurate record-keeping for all employees Implement effective marketing strategies to promote products and increase foot traffic Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction Monitor sales performance and analyze data to make informed decisions on pricing and promotions Maintain compliance with company standards in all aspects of store management

Skills

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others effectively Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions Proven experience in recruiting, training, and developing retail staff Proficient in payroll management and budgeting practices Expertise in merchandising techniques that drive sales growth Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing Experience in purchasing decisions that align with market trends Prior supervisory experience in a retail environment is essential Solid understanding of retail sales strategies and customer service excellence Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire a diverse team Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers and staff Proficient in time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately Administrative experience that supports operational efficiency Knowledge of bookkeeping principles related to retail operations
