The mission of the Advisor Alliance department is to be accountable for accelerating an innovative, efficient and seamless experience for Advisors, empowering them to excel in financial services and insurance. To provide actionable insurance information and insight with accuracy and intergrity to enable robust proactive decision making. The Analytics Consultant will contribute to this mission using their analysis, storytelling, data development and business analyst skills to create solutions for the partners and stakeholders of the Advisor Alliance Analytics team. The Analytics Consultant is expected to autonomously lead and support mid to large projects that support the Distribution Data and Reporting and Learning Analytic strategies.
How you will create impact:
  • Contributing to the execution of the Distribution Data and Reporting strategy.
  • Helping formulate the Distribution Learning Analytics strategy and roadmap.
  • Utilizing descriptive data to identify impacts, opportunities and solutions to support the development of an analytical framework.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver findings and interpret results while understanding trends and predictive analytic models.
  • Providing guidance and support to the team including training the team on the use of tools and resources for analyzing data used in the decision-making process.
  • Measuring, developing and monitoring reports on key performance metrics to support the planning and execution of assessments and compliance audits.
  • Identifying and recommending effective solutions to meet project requirements that focuses on time sensitive tasks and balancing general objectives to achieve desired results.

To join our team:
  • You have five years of experience working in a analytics related role (Statistical, Finance, Marketing, Actuarial or Claims).
  • You have a post-secondary degree in a related discipline (Statistics, Finance, Marketing, Actuarial).
  • You have extensive experience in descriptive analytics and working knowledge of advanced statistical methods.
  • You have experience with Business Intelligence and developer tools and languages (MicroStrategy, Netezza, Azure Synapse, SAS, SQL, R, Python).
  • Knowledge of learning analytics concepts and methodologies is an asset.
  • Knowledge of survey design, development and administration is an asset.
