The Post Trade risk management team\xe2\x80\x99s mandate is to ensure all required procedures, models, systems, reporting and governance are in place so that CDS and CDCC financial risks are managed in compliance with TMX risk appetite and policy as well as with CPSS-IOSCO Principles for Financial Market Infrastructure (PFMI\xe2\x80\x99s). The risk exposure types managed by the risk team include credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, model risk and operational risk.

Reporting to the Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Financial Risk Management and Integration, the Analyst is a key contributor to the delivery of the CDS and CDCC strategic project initiatives. More specifically, you will collaborate in the implementation of risk management tools and contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management processes.

Key accountabilities:

Supports risk measurement, and qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Designs, establishes and maintains user-friendly, efficient applications using mainly Matlab and SQL or by using other programming languages such as HTML, XML, Python, or other utilities when applicable.

Develops and maintains solution diagrams/flowcharts and application documentation.

Must haves:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Financial Engineering or equivalent experience.

1-3 years of previous work and programming experience in finance.

Strong time management and organization abilities in a high-pressure environment.

Nice to Haves:

FRM (Financial Risk Manager from GARP) or/and PRM (Professional Risk Manager from PRMIA).

CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).

Knowledge of dashboarding tools such as Tableau.
