Role

We are looking for an Analyst, Marketing Analytics & Insights to join our team for a full-time position. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, analytical person who will help deliver actionable customer, segment, product & loyalty program (LP) insights and proactive business/LP recommendations that support both immediate and long-term business objectives.

Reporting to the Director, Marketing Analytics & Insights, you\'ll support the Marketing Analytics & Insights team\xe2\x80\x99s mandate of accelerated growth, actionable insights & business intelligence.


You will work closely with the broader Marketing team, as well as the Product, Partner Success, Delivery/Activation and other teams, as required.


Responsibilities

  • Developing a deep understanding of partners\xe2\x80\x99 business, objectives and customers to ensure recommendations are tailor-made and on-strategy.
  • Working closely with various teams on identifying, creating, testing and implementing opportunities to increase engagement and drive KPIs (e.g. A/B testing, new product/marketing feature rollouts, new marketing channel opportunities).
  • Ensuring that each initiative considered has a robust testing and/or measurement plan at its outset, then executing that plan and reporting its results.
  • Conducting analyses to understand the effectiveness of marketing campaigns/initiatives, providing recommendations for improvement, optimization and deployment of new tactics & strategies.
  • Monitoring overall performance trends, profiling members & developing customer segmentation - driving insights around customer behaviour to foster a strong understanding of conversion drivers and personas.
  • Analyzing storefront performance & monitoring the customer purchase journey to identify customer friction points and areas for improvement/optimization; working with Product/Marketing/UX team(s) to optimize end customer journey.
  • Identifying the best-performing initiatives and communicating results to a more senior audience, recommending areas of increased focus
  • Participating in special projects as required, with responsibilities including data gathering, bespoke analysis, and the presentation of results and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert for product/marketing data & capabilities.



Qualifications
  • Experience translating key business questions into well-structured analysis and presentations shared back to the business & partners.
  • Significant experience analyzing and measuring marketing promotion performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to distill a large amount of data into actionable insights.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally, including developed written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment where priorities change and need to be rebalanced.
  • Understanding of customer segmentation and predictive analytics.
  • Solid Data Visualization Tool experience. Looker and/or Grafana experience is considered an asset.
  • Experience using statistical analysis tools/languages (e.g. SAS, Dataiku, Alteryx, SPSS / R, SQL, Python etc) to manipulate and analyze large and varied data sources.
  • Experience working with web analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc).
  • Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics is an asset.
