HERE\xe2\x80\x99S HOW YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Assists experienced team members with Information Security activities, as assigned including security monitoring procedures. Document and perform processes related to security monitoring.
  • Isolate issues using the suite of Security tools. Work with other staff to identify appropriate course of remediation and suggest methods of tuning systems accordingly.
  • Perform and review results from scheduled assessments identifying related risks. Work with other IT teams to identify resolution plans and follow progress to conclusion.
  • Assist with data collection and reporting activities in support of sustainment activities under PCI and SOC2 frameworks.
  • Conduct initial investigations of escalated security and network events. Assist in maintaining a library of documented response procedures. Participate in knowledge sharing with other analysts and develop efficient solutions.
  • Write technical articles for internal knowledge base
  • Working with your co-op peers identify, plan, execute and deliver a group project or presentation.
  • Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty - Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust, respect and loyalty. Builds effective networks of contacts inside and outside the organization.   • Ability to write clear instructions, procedures, presentations, and training materials.
  • Exposure to or familiarity with computer networking and telecommunications, application design and development, information security (e.g., applications, intrusion detection, firewalls, etc.), operating systems.
  • Leadership potential or skills displayed through extracurricular activities.
  • Familiarity with security principles, techniques and technologies.
