Summary

As a Senior Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting and documenting security operations processes, identifying gaps in threat coverage, and providing security expertise to other teams within STEMCELL.

As a member of the Information Security team, you will be actively participating and supporting in STEMCELL security applications. The role includes taking escalation from and mentoring junior team members in the field of information security.



Duties and Responsibilities

Provide users with cybersecurity-related support by prioritizing issues and resolutions, including escalating critical issues to team members

Proactively operate information security monitoring technologies, including log-based, end-point, and network-based security systems

Work with security information and event management (SIEM) to manage the system, manage the detection content, and actively watch for alerts

Monitor emerging threats and vulnerabilities to aid in the identification of incidents

Knowledge and Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree and/or diploma; 2-5 years of relevant experience in information security preferred

Information Security certification preferred: MITRE ATT&CK Defender, ISC2 SSCP, ISC2 CISSP, AWS Security, ISACA CSX+, ISACA CISA, GIAC GSEC, GIAC GISF

Passion for information security with the ability to communicate clearly cyber security issues to a non-technical audience

Experience working with AWS and cloud security is an asset; candidates without cloud security experience will be required to show an understanding of cyber security challenges in the cloud

Experience in information security operations including operating technologies such as endpoint protection, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS, and firewalls
