Permanent Full Time-We are hiring an Analyst, Data & Anallytics.Role DescriptionWe are looking for a data analyst who possess strong problem-solving skills, expertise in statistical analysis and mathematical packages, and effective communication abilities. As a member of the Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics team, you will work closely with our business partners to support their journey towards using our Connected Data Platform (CDP). This includes understanding business requirements, identifying data needs of the business, wrangling data from source systems, applying your knowledge to analyze and transform data in the data lake, and building tools to translate and display data outputs to be consumed by the business.   • Independently work with our business partners from across the organization to identify, understand and document their current analytics requirements and processes.
  • Develop solutions that improve current business processes by utilizing the data within our Connected Data Platform along with the analytical tools available.
  • Collect, clean, analyze and visualize data to inform data driven decisions.
  • Support our data tech partners with new data ingestions by working with the business teams to identify data on our source systems, gather data dictionaries and sample test data.
  • Build data models, dashboards, and reports using technologies like Azure Data Factory, SQL, Python, Power BI, and more.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPI) used to track success.
  • Identify sources of value, with a goal of helping to develop a well-articulated, credible & compelling business case.
  • Providing ongoing support to business users on accessing and utilizing the newly built data products.
What you will bring
  • A degree in Statistics or equivalent experience implementing advanced statistics to solve business problems.
  • Experience bringing value from data and visualizing results for end-users in BI tools like Power BI, Tableau or other.
  • Proficiency in building complex queries in SQL and/or Python.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Action oriented with the ability to quickly consume information & translate it into meaningful action.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, with a focus on delivery.
  • Knowledge of data lake concepts and best practices would be an asset

This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
