One of our banking clients is looking for a Data Analyst - Campaign Analytics (FI exp)
Length: 6 months contract with possibility of extension
Location: Remote - Canada
LOB: Home FinancingROLE MANDATE:
This Analytics team provides Portfolio, Product and Campaign monitoring and reporting. The selected candidate will assist the team servicing the Home Finance partners in innovating and transforming legacy reporting. They will provide advice on the transformation strategy and roadmap to deliver structured, searchable, scalable, and standardized data that feeds innovative insights tools. They will collaborate internally to design solutions for data management, including assessing, reconfiguring, modeling, quality assurance, storing, and analytics. They will play a critical role in the automation practices delivering performance efficiencies and streamlining processes.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

  • Documents and maintain operational procedures and processes relating to analytical and reporting processes.
  • Supports development and execution of strategic analytics & reporting initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business
  • Cleanses, manipulates, and transforms data through programming / scripting for model training and validation.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to deliver on business objectives.
  • Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support.
  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
  • Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.
  • Produces current state documents and implementation plans to articulate data flows, links, sequences, gaps, and future state.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to understand the current challenges and develop \'big data\' solutions to deliver business value.
  • Understands business needs, identifies opportunities for automation, crafts business & technical requirements, defines scope, and manages issues and timelines.
  • Manages all project requirements to execute approved plans.
  • Makes recommendations based on understanding and best practices of structuring big data.
  • Integrates information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes, enhanced analysis and/or streamlined reporting.
  • Works with business/group as required on intelligence operationalization initiatives.
  • Improves operational methods and workflows by identifying, recommending, and implementing process improvement initiatives.
  • Gathers, catalogues and updates intelligence as required.
  • Undertakes analysis of extensive data sets and open-source information.
  • Identifies links in intelligence information gathered to support investigations.
  • Documents processes (including, but not limited to, process flows, playbooks, etc.) for vetting, communicating, and implementing processes with stakeholders.
  • Participates in the design, development, and implementation of intelligence solutions.
  • Recommends and implements process improvement initiatives.
  • Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provides input into the planning and implementation of operational programs.
  • Develops and documents processes, procedures, etc. and/ or end-user materials.
  • Assists with the documentation of end user materials.
  • Assists with training and transition of processes and tools/templates to appropriate process owners.
  • Collaborates in the design, implementation and management of core business/group processes.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed
MUST-HAVE SKILLS:
  • Intermediate level (3+yrs) experience in data analytics
  • Relevant experience with complex data clean-up projects either in a BA or PM capacity
  • Relevant post-secondary degree (Finance, Economics)
  • Previous experience with process documentation
  • Proficient in MS Office and tech savvy
  • Knowledge and experience in data preparation, data analysis, and statistical tool sets including but not limited to SQL**, SAS**, R, Python
  • Verbal & written communication skills - Good
  • Analytical and a problem solver
  • Proactive and a team player
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity/complexity
  • Previous banking experience a nice to have
  • Previous Marketing/campaign experience not required but a nice to have
  • PMP a nice to have
