About the Opportunity

• Collect, analyze, and interpret energy and greenhouse gas metrics and data to support Choicexe2x80x99s decarbonization goals
• Collect, analyze, and interpret initiative specific data points to support program and strategy analysis.
• Collaborate across departments to develop business cases and analyses to support new decarbonization initiatives
• Coordinate and support approved energy and emissions reduction capital projects and manage incentive applications for capital projects, under the direction of the Senior Manager
• Provide analysis and research for energy and carbon reduction retrofits, metering, data collection, and solar projects and summarize findings in reports, memos, and case studies
• Conduct research and develop summaries of relevant regulatory rules, incentive programs, frameworks, industry norms, and market best practices to ensure Choice remains at the forefront of sustainability in the real estate industry
• Develop a structure and format for sharing key/relevant decarbonization news with the broader organization
• Promote and socialize decarbonization topics within the organization to foster a culture of sustainability

About You

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Sustainability Management, or a related field
• 2 years of experience in climate strategy, sustainability, and/or decarbonization
• Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to interpret and communicate complex environmental and climate-related data to inform strategic initiatives
• Strong proficiency in data management and analysis, with expertise in tools such as Excel and other software for tracking climate metrics and performance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different department
• Engineering background is an asset
