Job Summary Settlement Analyst is responsible for ensuring the flow of trades from source systems such as TOMs and Apex flow correctly into settlement systems such as Opics and RIMMs. Settlement Analyst is responsible for preparing reports and ensuring that the cash and position reconciliations are accurate.

As a Settlements Analyst, you will beresponsible for ensuring the flow of trades from source systems such as TOMs and Apex flow correctly into settlement systems such as Opics and RIMMs. Settlement Analyst is responsible for preparing reports and ensuring that the cash and position reconciliations are accurate.
What will you do?
Work constructively in a team environment
Aid in managing volumes and organizing workflow
Ensure all trades are processed through OPICS on a daily basis
Possess good knowledge of the products and systems required to accomplish daily responsibilities
Assists with daily reconciliation and balancing to resolve any cash breaks
Ensures adherence to policies, procedures, standards and guidelines instructions and ensures processes and controls are in place to minimize operations risk
On an ongoing basis will assist Associate Director Fixed Income Operations with any ad hoc requirements / tasks
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or College Diploma (preferably in Finance)
Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines
Demonstrated experience working with Excel and macros (don\xe2\x80\x99t need to create them)
Nice-to-have
1-2 years Investment/Securities Industry experience
Experience working with OPICS and APEX
Experience working in any Operations role
