AltaGas - Plant Operator, Townsend
You will:
- Assists in the daily operation of the Townsend facilities, working the 12-hour day/night shift schedule, 10 and 10 schedule
- Assist in the safe and efficient operation of all scheduled and unscheduled work including: operations, repairs and maintenance.
- Assists in commissioning, turnaround planning, and start-ups.
- Adherence to all AltaGas Policies, Standards, Procedures and Practices.
- Ensures plant production and reliability.
- Recognizes and avoids inappropriate risks, considers the consequences and impact and consults with senior personnel before taking action.
- Report and investigate facilities\xe2\x80\x99 safety incidents.
- Update and develop operating procedures.
- Good trouble shooting ability.
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering certificate.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience working in facility/pipeline operations.
- Gas plant and power generation experience would be considered an asset.
