General Project Management requires general business knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for an administrative or business process including:
Organizing project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements
Monitoring and reporting on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing
Ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., International Standards Organization)
Identifying/resolving obstacles to completing project on time and to budget
May include work managing multiple, interrelated projects (including business transformation projects)
On some projects, the work may include integrating vendor tasks into the project plan and tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables
Positions on this level have comprehensive knowledge of the specific discipline or the broader area in which the position operates. Executes specialized projects and activities and typically works according to set principles. Usually generates and initiates own workload and doesn't need instructions or guidelines. Might supervise work of less experienced professionals providing professional expertise and taking responsibility for the end-product. About the job
The Partner Alliance Project Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Google Cloud's partner alliance program. This includes developing and executing partnership operations, managing partner and sales relationships, and tracking and reporting on program performance. This role is critical for driving key initiatives and ensuring successful program delivery, leveraging your unique blend of sales acumen and technical understanding.
Responsibilities
Review requests against eligibility criteria, manage approvals or rejections.
Submit claims for reimbursement via partner tools with all required documentation.
Manage external partner relationships and resolving issues.
Manage Google Cloud Field Sales Reps (FSRs) and AMD Sales Reps relationships and resolve issues.
Track and report on partner performance, including partner sales, partner leads, and partner satisfaction.
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, sales, finance, accounting, and partner ecosystem, to ensure that the Google Cloud's partner program is successful.
Weekly sync with vendors to track performance and operations.
Handling change management and stakeholder management.
Operational excellence and workflow improvement.
Effective resolution based approach.
Who are we looking for?
Minimum 4 years project and vendor management experience.
Demonstrated success in enterprise-level inside sales.
In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies (like AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience working with global partners in a channel sales environment or managing external partner relationships.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
A results-oriented mindset with a focus on strategic execution.
Background in managing reimbursements, high value fund transactions.
Previously managed budget, accounting, and payments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM.
KPIs include
Reviews credit requests within two business days of submission (SLA)
Manages regular calendar cadence with partner (AMD) regional stakeholders
Keep detailed tracking of every credit request
Create monthly reporting based on program performance
Submit a claim to AMD for every approved credit request 100% approval goal up to approved
budget
Correctly funnel all AMD reimbursements to Google to the correct cost center on a monthly basis

Schedule
Fixed schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 hrs. shift from 9 AM to 6 PM (West coast/Pacific time), open to flexible hours working with clients across the globe.
Location
