ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We're hiring an
AI Program Coordinator
to support a new, provincewide artificial intelligence (AI) training initiative for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
This program helps businesses dismantle barriers to AI adoption, enhance productivity, and strengthen competitiveness.
The AI Program Coordinator will:
Plan and deliver workshops, webinars, and mentorship activities
Support businesses in using an AI readiness self-assessment tool
Coordinate logistics and outreach for program activities
Track budgets, schedules, and milestones to ensure smooth delivery
Collect program data and prepare accurate reports for government funders
Build relationships with businesses, vendors, and partners across Manitoba
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities will be essential.

Full-time contract position until December 2026 (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday
Hybrid work arrangement (50% in-office, 50% remote)
Flex hours encouraged to support work-life balance
Occasional early mornings or evenings may be required

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in business administration, project management, communications, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience will be considered
- 2+ years of experience coordinating programs, including event logistics, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, track timelines, and meet reporting requirements
- Experience in preparing accurate written reports including collecting and organizing program data.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) concepts and tools, with the ability to apply them in program delivery and reporting.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English, including presenting to business audiences
- Ability to communicate effectively with partners, vendors, and stakeholders to keep work moving forward and resolve issues when they arise.
- Experience working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to deliver joint initiatives.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and comfort working with project tracking or shared data tools.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Manitoba's business community and economic development landscape.
- Experience with government-funded projects, including compliance and reporting.
- Knowledge and expertise in AI are a significant asset.
- Experience using digital tools or platforms to deliver programs.
- Previous experience working in a nonprofit, membership-based, or community-focused organization.
