Summary
We are seeking a self-motivated and knowledgeable Agronomy Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is responsible for providing agronomic support, identifying customer needs, and delivering crop input solutions that drive farm success. The ideal candidate has a passion for agriculture, strong communication skills, and a desire to work directly with producers in the field.
Responsibilities
Provide expert agronomic advice to customers regarding crop production and management.
Introduce company offerings to new prospects and build lasting relationships
Assist in developing tailored solutions for farmers to improve yield and sustainability.
Stay updated on the latest agricultural trends, technologies, and best practices.
Conduct field visits to assess crop conditions and provide recommendations.
Collaborate with the sales team to promote agronomic products and services.
Educate customers on proper product usage and application techniques.
Assist with product delivery, ordering, and logistics coordination as required
Requirements
o
Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field.
Strong understanding of crop production practices and soil management.
Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) achievement is an asset.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Willingness to travel for field assessments as needed.
Manage flexible hours to support growers during peak seasons
