The Agro Professional Development Program (PDP) recruits highly motivated, recent university graduates to join BASF\xe2\x80\x99s Agricultural Solutions Division in Canada. Participants will explore career options and develop technical and professional decision-making skills, while fulfilling specific business needs for marketing and sales functions in BASF. Participants also have the opportunity to assess their capabilities, skills, and interests and gain valuable exposure to BASF\'s culture, values, and decision-makers.
The PDP role is 24 months in length with a term spent working in Marketing and Customer Solutions Team (CST) prior to a transition into a Field Sales role. The Marketing / CST role will be located in Calgary, Alberta. Field Sales will be located in somewhere in Canada after 12 months within Marketing / CST. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be eligible to apply remain in Field Sales or pursue other opportunities within BASFs. PDPs are expected to be fully mobile within Canada for this role.

  • Upcoming graduates with a Bachelor of Science (or Bachelor of Commerce) with emphasis in Business, Economics, Marketing, Agronomy, Biology, Plant Science or a related field.

  • Strong influencing & impact skills.

  • Team oriented with a passion for agriculture.

  • Valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License.
