For our Western Canadian sales team, we are looking for a Manitoba-based Agricultural Sales Representative who can accelerate our growth by work with our retailer partners and growers. Note: This role is open to candidates living in Manitoba only \xef\xbb\xbf Job Overview Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Rep will identify and integrate new business opportunities in Manitoba. Under the direction of the Sales Manager, this role will develop new and maintain existing distributor and retail partnerships to achieve sales targets for the current and expanding portfolio. Responsibilities and Duties - Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets in Western Canada with a focus on Manitoba. - Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented team culture. - Manage and grow existing distributor and retail relationships, while also identifying and acquiring new distributor and retail partners. - Provide technical information and support to customers about Soileos products, training distributors and growers on product usage, positioning and market success. - Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and adjust strategies accordingly. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Customer Support, Production and sourcing teams, as well as R&D to optimize customer experience and product offerings, and production scheduling. - Represent the company at industry events, conferences, trade shows, and other seasonal events - Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, and budgets for senior management. - Forecast and track sales, margins and market share for assigned products and partnerships. - Collaborate with HR to recruit, onboard, and train new sales representatives as needed. Qualifications - You have a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or post secondary diploma in a related field. - You have at least three (3) years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a sales roles with a focus on Agribusiness. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets. - Strong knowledge of the agricultural industry and farming practices in the Canadian Prairies. - You have excellent written and oral communication skills. - You show initiative and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment - You reside in Manitoba.
