What we are looking for
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead a team in delivering digital transformation solutions to clients using agile frameworks such as Scrum. This individual must be an effective communicator and confident leader in stakeholder management. They must also be well-versed and experienced in running Scrum ceremonies.
What You Will Be Doing

Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of sprint increments
  • A servant leader, who ensures appropriate collaboration across and within Scrum teams to ensure collective success

Initiating and Planning
  • Scope out, cost and estimate new projects
  • Support the Product Owner in building out the product roadmap
  • Conduct planning sessions for Sprint 0, Team Working Agreements etc.

Executing, Monitoring & Controlling
  • Coach and support all Scrum team members (i.e. Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers)
  • Ensure the backlog is continuously groomed so that the work is fully defined for future sprint start dates
  • Organize and focus the team to properly meet Sprint Goals
  • Identify any additional resource needs or requirements throughout the project
  • Escalate any cross-department issues impacting sprints which are not being addressed in a timely fashion
  • Create reports and communicate sprint and product delivery status to the client’s senior leadership
  • Commit to deliver initiatives and items prioritized in the Product Backlog
  • Ensure standardized processes are followed, and be an advocate for Scrum and related ceremonies

Continuous Improvement Initiatives
  • Assess the overall process and look for efficiencies that will help improve the process and/or the quality of deliverables

Preferred Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager working in mixed methodology (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
  • Experience managing software development, application modernization, cloud data and/or cloud migration projects for enterprise clients
  • Excellent communication skills to speak to both external and internal clients
  • Strong experience in client and stakeholder management
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills at various levels of the organization
  • Work well under pressure to meet specific deadlines
  • Exceptional motivation with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Good understanding of business processes and rules and how they apply to business success
  • Able to acknowledge, embrace, and adapt easily to change
  • Able to quickly learn new business and technical concepts
  • Comfortable to work in an open, highly collaborative, fast-pace, ever changing team environment
