Working Arrangement At Home
Individual Accountabilities:
Business Accountabilities: 8 0%

  • Assist with production of reports and presentations using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Process of National Agent of Records & Letter of Authorization changes
  • Contracting and Commissions inquires
  • National Advisor Portal access inquires
  • Maintaining and updating of the Advisor/Client information on GroupLinks


  • Plan Administrator group site access
  • Application maintenance

Office Accountabilities: 2 0%
  • Provide administrative assistance (mail, assisting with Client visits, Service Now requests) and support to the Regional Group Office Sales and Service team. Coordinate the efforts of the Account Executives and Service Representatives.
  • Carry out general daily office duties such as incoming/outgoing mail and couriers, processing accounts payables, office supply management, ordering and maintaining supply of marketing materials, system accesses requests and ordering of equipment for the staff, etc.


Key Shared Accountabilities:
  • A focus on continuous process improvement
  • Investigate and resolve inquiries and identify issues and analyze problems \xe2\x80\x93 working with internal areas (Commissions, Contracting, Customer Service, Sponsor Financial Services etc.)

Job Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.


  • Previous administrative support and/or group benefits experience would be an asset
  • Expert level in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • General knowledge and understanding of the Group Benefits industry in Canada

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.


  • Attention to detail and accuracy, including ability to document processes, to articulate query responses in a clear and concise way
  • Ability to manage high volumes of work and conflicting priorities and decide/determine business priorities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates ability to interact effectively with various levels of internal and external clients
  • Discretion / confidentiality


  • Adhere to PIPEDA legislation and internal Code of Conduct guidelines as they pertain to confidential information for advisors and their clients. Demonstrate discretion with confidential information

  • Strong customer service skills including a sense of urgency, ability to display empathy and strong emotional self-control during times of stress and particularly in difficult conversations

Salary & Benefits The annual base salary for this role in the primary location of CAN, Ontario - Full Time Remote is expected to be between $36,600.00 CAD - $61,000.00 CAD. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
