Under the supervision of the Director of Financing and Compensation, the Agent is responsible for planning, organizing, supervising and coordinating the issuance of various types of loans and transition allowances to Investia representatives. In this position, you interact with the various teams (legal, sales, finance, registration and compensation). In fact, you\'re the central point for all these players, ensuring that loan issuance is completed on time and to standard.
In this role, the incumbent:
Analyzes and follows up on documents submitted by the sales team (confirmation of financing policy and transfer allocation)
Prepares various documents (amortization schedule, change of life insurance beneficiary, etc.)
Ensures validity of financial information provided by sales team
Keeps track of all steps involved in issuing a loan or transfer allowance
Communicates with representatives to obtain documents and signatures
Analyzes and optimizes processes using indicators
Ensures that all parties involved meet deadlines
Works closely with departmental managers in the loan issuance process
Disburses the loan or allocation once all authorizations have been received
Implements the loan drawdown mechanism
Produces various financial reports for the CFO
Reconciles loans and their viability on a monthly basis
Processes interest rate revisions and termination files for representatives with loans in force
Responsible for updating procedures related to all financing processes
Ensures compliance with existing internal controls (design and monitor)
Maintains up-to-date lending and transfer policy criteria
Provides customer service in relation to files under their responsibility
In addition, you may be assigned other tasks when financing requests are lower (up to 50% of your time at certain times of the year):
o Participation in the budget process
o Participation in the financial month-end process
o Participation in the financial analysis process
o Participation in various annual audits
o Participation in day-to-day trust accounting operations
o Participation in day-to-day operations of the compensation team
This position is constantly evolving, in line with business development, and involves frequent periods of intense work with a high volume of files and deadlines to be met.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in business administration;
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience;
Knowledge of financing and legal documentation a strong asset;
Demonstrate organizational skills and autonomy;
Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure;
Ability to make quick and justified decisions;
Diplomacy and leadership;
Excellent oral and written skills in French and English, due to frequent interaction with internal colleagues and French and English-speaking partners across Canada.
