How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for maintaining the accurate and timely collection of revolving account receivables and ensuring that all applicable policies and regulations are adhered to while promoting ALC\xe2\x80\x99s safety and quality objectives. Provide support for the Finance & Sales Support Department and fellow team members. Offer excellent customer service to our Sales Teams both internal and external and most importantly our Customers.

Ensures collection of accounts: Maintains the outstanding accounts receivable at 45 days or less. Reviews delinquent accounts and speaks with customers by telephone to collect overdue amounts. Negotiates reimbursement methods and terms with customers. Types and mails form letters to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts. Coordinates with a third party to facilitate the collection efforts of the overdue account.

Follow up on customer records: Records information about financial status of customers and status of collection efforts. Makes daily entries into customer accounts for checks and materials received. Each month, reconciles and follows-up accounts to determine and improve customers\xe2\x80\x99 performance. Confers and consults with the Sales team as required.

Quality: Makes sure that all customer payments are credited accurately, and on a timely basis. Knows and respects procedures related to the group as indicated in the ALC Quality Manual. Ensures that proper corrective and preventive measures are in place for addressing customer issues or complaints.

Maintains relationships with customers: Develops a strategy to secure customers\xe2\x80\x99 satisfaction and loyalty.



Are you a MATCH?

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable/Collections role and or Customer service role.

Diploma: post-secondary diploma, college degree in administration or a related field of knowledge

Knowledge: Bilingualism (French and English), basic accounting, computer systems; Google Suite, Oracle is an asset.
