Mechanical Customer Support Specialist (After-Sales)

We're looking for a Mechanical Customer Support Specialist; someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, understands physical products, and communicates clearly with customers.



This is not an IT or computer support role.



This role focuses entirely on mechanical fitness equipment and recovery systems.

What you'll do day-to-day ?





Diagnose and resolve issues for treadmills, exercise bikes, adjustable dumbbells, chillers, saunas and recovery systems via email, phone, or video. Guide customers through troubleshooting steps that match their technical comfort level. Identify the correct replacement parts using internal tools and resources. Coordinate with warehouse/logistics for part shipments or product replacements. Track warranty cases and maintain clear documentation. Report recurring issues to Quality Control and suppliers to improve product reliability. Help create troubleshooting guides, manuals, and FAQs. Support product testing and inbound quality control when new shipments arrive.



Who we're looking for





Mechanical or hands-on experience (bike repairs, fitness equipment, HVAC, mechanical assembly, etc.). Customer service experience with strong communication skills. Comfortable with tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, multimeter, etc.). Logical thinker with good problem-solving skills. Organized, responsible, and proactive with follow-ups. English required; French is a strong asset. Nice-to-haves Experience with Zendesk or other ticketing systems. Interest in fitness, training, cold exposure, or mechanical systems.

Nous recherchons un(e) Specialiste en Support Client Mecanique : une personne qui aime resoudre des problemes concrets, comprendre comment fonctionnent les produits physiques, et accompagner les clients avec clarte.



Ce poste n'est pas lie au support informatique ou TI.



Il concerne exclusivement des produits mecaniques et d'equipement de fitness.

Tes responsabilites au quotidien ?





Diagnostiquer et resoudre les problemes sur tapis de course, velos d'exercice, halteres ajustables, refroidisseurs, saunas et systemes de recuperation (via courriel, telephone, video). Guider les clients etape par etape selon leur niveau de confort technique. Identifier les bonnes pieces de remplacement a l'aide d'outils internes. Coordonner l'envoi des pieces ou les remplacements avec l'entrepot et la logistique. Suivre les dossiers de garantie et documenter les cas avec precision. Communiquer les problemes recurrents a l'equipe Qualite et aux fournisseurs. Contribuer a la creation de guides de depannage, manuels et FAQ. Participer au controle qualite des nouveaux produits lors des receptions de marchandise.



Profil recherche





Experience mecanique ou pratique (atelier de velos, reparation d'equipements, CVC, assemblage mecanique, etc.). Experience en service client avec d'excellentes aptitudes de communication. A l'aise avec les outils (tournevis, cles, multimetre, etc.). Bon sens logique et aptitude a resoudre des problemes mecaniques. Organise(e), responsable et proactif(ve) dans le suivi des dossiers. Anglais requis; le francais est un atout important.



Atouts





Experience avec Zendesk ou un systeme de tickets similaire. Interet pour le fitness, l'entrainement, la recuperation ou les systemes mecaniques. Ce que nous offrons 22-25 $/h selon l'experience (40 h/semaine). Assurance sante et dentaire apres trois mois. Acces aux services de sante virtuels TELUS Health.
