WHO ARE YOU? AMIX is looking for an Aftermarket & Logistics Manager to assist Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales and Project teams in the delivery of 1) Capital Projects and the 2) Aftermarket, business units, undertaking their work in a professional and diligent manner. In this role, the Employee will assume the responsibility of ensuring optimum functionality of procurement activities and logistics support processes to ensure that project standards and turn-around times are exceeded and that internal and external tools software tools are implemented and adopted accordingly. The position is also responsible for customer interface support globally. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Coordinate with the Director of Operations, Engineering, Project Manager(s) and Supply Chain for documentation queries with customers for logistics and procurement; \xc2\xb7 Based on the needs of the project and customer\xe2\x80\x99s request, quote logistics and target cost estimates for air and sea-freight, to support global project delivery; \xc2\xb7 Liaise between Sales and Supply-Chain for Aftermarket support, including: o Triaging Requests for Proposals (RFP\xe2\x80\x99s), preparing quotations from Bill of Materials, Spare Parts List(s); o Interrogating Customer requirements to ensure transparency on Scope of Work, specifications; o Prepare and execute workflow for each Aftermarket project to completion; and, o Ensuring the Change Order requests are met within a timely fashion. \xc2\xb7 Engage with relevant vendors/suppliers and distribute documentation to ensure that project, timeline targets set by Engineering and the Project Manager(s) are met; \xc2\xb7 Ensure that a high-degree of client service is maintained, including: o Timely triage of requests; o Communication expectations are met throughout procurement, fabrication, and shipping; o Timeline and accurate transmittal of documentation; \xc2\xb7 Monitor, analyze logistics and procurement processes, challenges as they are encountered; \xc2\xb7 Conduct preemptive and on-the-fly changes to mitigate potential budget impacts; \xc2\xb7 Maintain constant communication and collaboration with Accounting, Projects, Engineering and Sales, to ensure timely completion of milestones and associated payments; \xc2\xb7 Maintain project document filing system; \xc2\xb7 Materials management responsibilities, including: o Open purchase orders, expediting, tracking and returns; o Lead times, arrival dates; and, o Reporting requirements to internal, external clients. Business Process, Workflow Development Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Create and implement improved workflow for aftermarket and logistics processes to improve transparency, and task accountability; \xc2\xb7 Improve automation of reporting, transmittals; \xc2\xb7 Generate ideas, execute and refine documentation templates Macros, workflow, procurement and logistics information, including o Request-for-Quotations (RFQs), Invoices, Purchase Orders, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Bill of Lading, among others; \xc2\xb7 Evaluate and maintain inventory levels, warehousing of critical supply-chain components; Other Project-Support Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Support Engineering in sourcing equipment suppliers, components, and developing/maintaining relationships with new and/or on-going vendors; \xc2\xb7 Assist, when required in, o Supporting transmittal of technical documentation Engineering and Projects; o Preparation of schedules, work breakdown structures; o Generating, maintaining, distributing Request-for-Information (RFI) documentation; Education and Experience: Required \xc2\xb7 Certificate/Degree in Supply Chain Management and/or Purchasing \xc2\xb7 Industrial equipment manufacturing and/or consulting engineering experience. \xc2\xb7 3 to 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working in purchasing and procurement functions; \xc2\xb7 A strong understanding of business workflow processes to support continual improvement of standard operating procedures within the business unit. \xc2\xb7 Previous experience in a customer-facing role \xc2\xb7 Experience with international logistics, ports of entry, freight, and Incoterms to de-risk projects and to ensure minimal delays in delivery of equipment. \xc2\xb7 Creative (out-of-the-box) thinking to facilitate project success/completion. \xc2\xb7 Entrepreneurial mind-set and comfort working within a small, multicultural, collaborative team. \xc2\xb7 Perform high level critical thinking and problem solving in an independent fashion. \xc2\xb7 Highly detailed oriented to ensure 100% accuracy on documentation. \xc2\xb7 Advanced computers skills including Excel, ERP-systems, project management & supply-chain software.
