Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse and Logistics Manager to oversee our daily warehouse operations at our North Vancouver location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of all aspects of the warehouse, including inventory management, receiving, shipping, and order fulfillment. The successful candidate will lead a team of warehouse employees and work collaboratively with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and business success.Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including inventory management, receiving, shipping, and order fulfillment.
- Supervise a team of 20 -30 warehouse employees, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Oversee all inbound and outbound logistics.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse procedures and processes to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
- Monitor and maintain warehouse supply levels.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales and customer service, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain and monitor warehouse labour and supply budgets.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field.
- Experience leading a team.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse management software, inventory management, and order fulfillment systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
