We provide Full Truck Load Transportation Services to and from major cities in Western Canada and Western US with our own fleet of Reefers, and Dry Vans. The Afterhours Dispatch is responsible for building and maintaining strong business relationships with multiple drivers to seamlessly coordinate them to successfully service customer loads. Monitor logistic transactions in the evening while communicating effectively and efficiently both internally and externally to achieve high levels of service.

Responsibilities will include:
Communicating with drivers regularly to ensure on time delivery, sending and receiving all information relevant to the driver performing his/her duties within the Company and customer requirementsHandling all driver related satellite messages or calls within assigned and overflow queuesReporting and documenting of all customer service, planning and driver related issues to the appropriate personnelPreparing customs clearance paperwork and ensuring it has been submitted the customs brokerFollowing up with customs brokers to ensure clearances are completed in a timely mannerArranging and booking in repairs for in transit truck breakdowns


Qualifications
Analytical and critical thinking skillsMust have reliable transportationStrong problem solving skillsProven team player with ability to align position goals with corporate strategic goalsMinimum of 2 years of experience in a dispatch or planning role requiredMinimum of 1 year of customer service experience would be an assetSome post-secondary education is an assetMust be legally allowed to work full time in Canada

Shift:
Must be able to work both Saturday and Sunday (Morning or Evening Shift)Must be able to work three weekdays 3PM - 11:30PM
