Job Description

We are looking for teachers for our School Age Care Program, After School from 2pm to 5pm only. The minimum qualifications are a Responsible Adult Certificate. Please only apply if you can work these hours and have a RA certificate. Ideal candidate has Class 4 Drivers license or is willing to obtain one. The successful candidates will have to demonstrate a genuine passion for providing the highest standards in quality childcare - strong communication skills and team-working abilities are essential. We are looking of an energetic, euthusiatic and experience candidate for this program. The job also entails full-time summer hours. Responsibilities:

• Follow the Bramblewood philosophy and curriculum to plan, implement and supervise age-appropriate activities
• UdDDevelop
• Daily set-up and clean-upp and clean-up
• Provide clear & caring supervision to children
• Consider the individual needs and goals of each child and respond accordingly
• Ensure the health and safety of the children
• Work as part of the team, which includes children, their parents, and the centre staff members, using the philosophy of the centre
• Works in conjunction with the Manager and the Administrator to ensure the needs of the classroom are met. This includes the children and the staff.
• Give and take direction while making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Participate in team meetings and professional development days
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff
• Maintain a safe, and positive learning environment for all children and their families

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
