Job Summary

Willing Education offers school-aged (5 to 12 years old) after school programs. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated After School Assistant to join our team. As a After School Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing educational support and guidance to students.

Duties

Collaborate effectively with team members to foster an inclusive environment that offers support, strategies, and resources for children with diverse needs to fully engage in the program. Provide individualized support to children as needed within the program setting. Contribute to a community culture of inclusion by recognizing and supporting each child's unique strengths and areas for growth. Support children in resolving conflicts and consistently model respectful, positive behavior. Help maintain an enhanced staff-to-child ratio to ensure all children receive the attention they need, including one-on-one support when appropriate.

Skills

- Strong background in education or tutoring
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed

- A clear criminal record check

- Must be at least 19 years of age

Nice-to-have skills:
- Experience with diverse student populations
- Proficiency in educational technology
- Fluency in multiple languages

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
