Pickard Construction is a privately owned company with multiple offices across Ontario. We specialize in utility construction both underground & aerial in the communication and electrical fields. We offer a wide range of service in these fields including but not limited to Directional drilling, Plowing, Line construction, Rock drilling and Fibre splicing.What Work For Us:

- Competitive Salary Range: $23-$28 per hour based on Experience, Qualifications and Skills
- Operate vehicle-mounted aerial devices equipment
- Preform aerial telecom construction including
- Placement of poles and anchor
- Placement of strand
- Lashing cable
- Transferring telecom plant for old pole to new pole
- Climbing of poles with spurs or ladder
- Completing construction as per design laid out on plans
- Placement of underground cable in duct
- Completion of daily job specific paper work
- Organization of work operations to ensure safety of yourself and people and pedestaling around work area
- Valid DZ Driver's License (with a clean abstract)
- Up to date Working at Heights training
- A strong communicator, both in writing and spoken communication
- Organized, a self-starter and highly safety oriented
- Strong ability to read and understand plans
