Pickard Construction is a privately owned company with multiple offices across Ontario. We specialize in utility construction both underground & aerial in the communication and electrical fields. We offer a wide range of service in these fields including but not limited to Directional drilling, Plowing, Line construction, Rock drilling and Fibre splicing. What Work For Us: \xe2\x97\x8f We are a continuingly growing company that prides itself on offering local year-round employment with competitive wage & benefit packages to all its staff Duties and Responsibilities: \xe2\x97\x8f Operate vehicle-mounted aerial devices equipment \xe2\x97\x8f Preform aerial telecom construction including (1) Placement of poles and anchor, (2) Placement of strand, (3) Lashing cable, (4) Transferring telecom plant from old pole to new pole \xe2\x97\x8f Climbing of poles with spurs or ladder \xe2\x97\x8f Completing construction as per design laid out on plans \xe2\x97\x8f Placement of underground cable in duct \xe2\x97\x8f Completion of daily job specific paperwork \xe2\x97\x8f Organization of work operations to ensure safety of yourself and people and pedestaling around work area Qualifications: \xe2\x97\x8f Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in aerial line construction \xe2\x97\x8f Valid AZ Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License (with a clean abstract) \xe2\x97\x8f Up-to-date Working at Heights and First Aid training \xe2\x97\x8f Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working with aerial devices Skills: \xe2\x97\x8f A strong communicator, both in writing and spoken communication \xe2\x97\x8f Organized, a self-starter and highly safety oriented \xe2\x97\x8f Strong ability to read and understand plans Job Type: Full-time Benefits:
