Candidate Specification

Candidates who can demonstrate most of the following skills and experience will be considered for the role:

  • A post-secondary degree with 3+ years of career experience related to the development of technical procurement documentation, engineering and/or infrastructure development
  • Experience and knowledge of the construction industry / built environment
  • Familiar and proficient with project management processes
  • Experience of projects in multiple sectors (e.g. Built environment, Transportation, Water, Energy etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience of risk identification, management and mitigation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of leading and working within a team
  • Excellent written and presentation skills
  • Able to work independently and unsupervised
  • Positive attitude, team player

Due to recent project success and continued growth of our advisory team, we are seeking to recruit an advisory consultant. The Candidate will support the delivery of multiple strategic advisory mandates for both public sector and private sector clients with potential roles covering due diligence, project management, risk management, climate change and sustainability, business casing and procurement approaches for major infrastructure developments.

Typical work will involve:
  • Supporting public sector authorities with strategic advice for the procurement and capital expenditure of their infrastructure programs and projects
  • Supporting the development of procurement documentation, including but not limited to alternative forms of procurement such as P3s, CMGCs, and PDBs
  • Supporting a range of projects with structured decision-making and options assessment/appraisal mandates
  • Supporting climate resilience and adaptation strategies, assessments, and implementation plans for clients
  • Project management mandates
  • Drafting reports and project audits
  • Supporting risk management for both internal and external mandates
  • Supporting and leading the preparation of proposals
  • Internal project management (including budgets) and reporting
  • Supporting initiatives for the regional and global business
