Internal Audit and Financial Advisory Consultants work with Protiviti\xe2\x80\x99s clients, who are typically among the world\xe2\x80\x99s leading companies. As a consultant, you collaborate with the team to deliver client solutions for complex business problems that these organizations face. Internal Audit and Financial Advisory Consultants will experience a variety of projects. Each project experience is designed to fuel your curiosity, uncover hidden strengths, and most importantly, prepare you for the next career level. Consultants learn from the best management team in an effort to develop an understanding of business processes and build technical skills in general risk areas. Consultants compile and analyze data and document findings through client engagements. Through interaction with client and project team personnel, consultants develop professional relationships that contribute to exceptional client service. A successful consultant learns effective time and task management, takes ownership of assignments, and accepts responsibility for team results.

With each project, you receive hands-on training in a nurturing environment and interact with leaders across our practice. Talent Managers will partner with you in lining up specific project experiences that support your career goals, your skills, and the needs of the business. A network of advisors will help you navigate challenges and celebrate milestones. Internal Audit and Financial Advisory Consultants are hired into one of the two different specific solution segments, including:

• Technology Audit and Advisory: Helps companies evaluate their ability to protect information assets, through testing and evaluating current company processes. This includes not only security protocols and development processes, but also continued availability of information to authorized parties. Technology Auditors are involved in assessing and advising on virtually every aspect of the way an organization uses technology to protect and enhance enterprise value- controls & regulatory compliance, security, privacy, software development, disaster recovery, technology governance, business intelligence and many others.

• Business Process Audit and Advisory: Helps companies become more innovative and explore their business processes, identify and mitigate emerging risks, and develop creative solutions to complex business challenges as well as encourage best practices to enhance business functions. Process Auditors provide confidence to leaders that their organizations can meet the demands of changing environments. Managing risk, monitoring and testing controls, enhancing security and improving corporate governance are core internal audit services.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, and Management Information Systems)
• Visa Status: All applicants applying for Canadian job openings must be authorized to work in Canada
• Technical Skills Desired:
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including documentation of findings and recommendations
• Ability to apply critical thinking skills and innovation to client engagements across various industries
• A foundation in core business processes
• Interest in internal audit processes, technology concepts, tools and objectives
• Experience in tools such as Microsoft Office (particularly Project, Access, Excel and PowerPoint), Power BI, and Tableau

ARE YOU ON BOARD WITH TRAVEL?

It is expected that you will reside within a reasonable daily commute of your assigned Protiviti home office by your start date. Protiviti employees work in a hybrid environment which means you will be required to work from a variety of locations including your Protiviti home office, an in-town and/or out-of-town client site, and/or from a remote location such as your residence. It is expected that you will be available to be physically present at the required work location and that you will have access to reliable transportation.
