The mission of TC Transcontinental's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team is to support the company in the deployment of its ambitious action plan - "Building our Future" for the 2025 horizon (More details here: ). In this role, you will not only actively participate in the management and improvement of the company's environmental performance but also ensure compliance.

Daily, you will be involved in a variety of issues, such as:

Participating in the climate transition by contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the SBTi (Science-based target initiative) roadmap. More specifically: working on energy efficiency and evaluating renewable energy opportunities.

Helping our plants achieve our "zero waste" goal.

Regularly discuss with the environmental contacts for each site and advise them on how to improve their environmental performance.

Collaborate with the project team on various reporting efforts (CDP, S&P, Corporate Knights, etc.).

Ensure regulatory monitoring (with the help of consultants) and compliance with the company's environmental policy.

Coordinate an audit program (internal and external) in collaboration with consultants.

Complete relevant environmental declarations (EEQ, NPRI, etc.).

Your profile

University degree in environmental science or other relevant degree related to environmental studies or sustainability

3 to 5 years of experience in environmental management

Experience in the manufacturing sector is an important asset

Knowledge of environmental regulations

Available to travel throughout North America (occasionally)

Bilingual in French and English
