About the role:

Join the Enterprise Architecture and Advanced Analytics Team in the Advisor, Data Platform position. In this role, you will enable business partners with the right technology tools, platforms, and capability to deliver on data and analytics initiatives. You will develop and negotiate technical solutions with data and analytics users to proactively and continuously identify opportunities and design solutions that will keep enterprise vision in mind and drive business value. You will also ensure seamless operational support and manages the data and analytics platform operations on an ongoing basis, with a focus on continuously evolving the platform for optimal user experience and to take advantage of evolving technology.

What you\'ll do:
  • Develop, evolve, and maintain the data and analytics platform vision, strategy and roadmap which includes, creating business cases for future investments and planning the platform lifecycle.
  • Research and recommend innovative solutions to maintain the data and insights platform and conduct proof of concepts to validate potential solutions and opportunity for evolution.
  • Identify and implement best approaches in delivering value to customers by staying current on industry and technology landscape, best practices, and emerging technologies, as well as leveraging insights from user or analytics research.
  • Present and communicate solutions in an efficient and easily understandable way to a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.
  • Manage and monitor the running of the analytics model workflows that have been promoted to production.
  • Utilize your motivating, understanding, and/or developing people skills, which are critical to the achievement of results through others.
  • Ensure deeper alignment and integration with current and future infrastructure initiatives, in close coordination with IT teams and external partners.
  • Be recognized across the corporation as a valued leader in the management and support of the corporate data platform.
What you should have:
  • An undergraduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or any other related quantitative field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant Analytics work experience, including 5 years of leadership experience.
  • A strong knowledge of the Analytics ecosystem including, data science, analytics and BI tools, modeling techniques, data governance, data storage solutions, data lakes, and application scalability solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills, including the ability to speak and write clearly and succinctly in a variety of settings and styles as well as communicating messages at multiple levels in the organization.
  • The solid ability to work in environments with significant ambiguity and changes, can develop creative approaches to data problems, and is curious and enthusiastic about data in the context of business and industry implications.
  • The solid ability to plan and manage multiple, concurrent priorities, and work under tight time constraints while establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
It would be great if you also had:
  • A good understanding of mortgage loan insurance, affordable/social housing programs, real estate, and finance.
