PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE

The incumbent of this role will be responsible for reviewing the company's overall compensation package and making the necessary changes and recommendations based on the analyses conducted in order to be competitive in various markets. In collaboration with the Human Resources Department, he/she will be responsible for all activities related to compensation with the objective of achieving the organization's mission and respecting the company's culture.

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Manage special projects or improvements to existing compensation processes and tools;
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources team for the job evaluation, pay equity and market matching processes;
  • Participate in compensation surveys and other relevant studies, analyze the data to ensure the competitiveness of our compensation offer;
  • Prepare comparative analyses and make recommendations;
  • Participate in the research and problem resolutions related to our systems/tools, understand the results and recommend solutions;
  • Actively contribute to the smooth running of compensation programs (follow-up during annual salary review processes, bonuses, incentives, etc.);
  • Contribute to the salary review cycle and benchmarking activities;
  • Ensure the maintenance, update and accuracy of data in Ceridian Dayforce and the organization's employment structures;
  • Work in partnership with Managers and the HR team to achieve optimal performance and employee engagement;
  • Participate in the preparation and facilitation of presentations for management and the Human Resources team;
  • Develop and monitor all dashboards to track staff activity;
  • Collaborate in the development, implementation and follow-up of various projects, documents, work tools and programs related to Human Resources management;
  • Produce and analyze performance indicators;
  • Contribute to various files concerning employee benefits (DPSP, group insurance, vacation, personal days, virtual medicine, etc.)
  • Participate in various special projects within the Human Resources department.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or other related field;
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in compensation and analytics;
  • Good knowledge of French (speaking and writing) and functional knowledge in English;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Strong knowledge of Excel;
  • Autonomy and ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work.
