Position Overview

As a team member in the Admissions Department at Aveda Institute Winnipeg, you will be responsible for generating new leads, nurturing prospective students, and guiding them through the admissions process. Your role will be pivotal in identifying and engaging potential candidates who are passionate about beauty and wellness. This position is perfect for an individual who is enthusiastic about the beauty industry and skilled at building relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieving Sales Targets : Ensuring that leads targets, contact rate, booking rate, appointment show and conversions rates are met.
• Lead Generation : Proactively identify and source potential student leads interested in beauty and wellness programs through various channels such as inbound inquiries, outbound calls, email campaigns, events, and referrals.
• Events : Leading outbound or inbound events where it pertains to student lead generation and school promotion
• Engagement and Relationship Building : Initiate contact with prospective students, understand their career aspirations in the beauty and wellness industry, and provide information about our programs, unique Aveda culture, and extensive hands-on training to build rapport and trust. Build strong relationships with the community: such as salon owners, high school contacts, career + businesses to generate leads and assist grads with placement.
• Qualification : Qualify leads by assessing their eligibility, interests, and career goals, ensuring alignment with Aveda Institute's admission criteria.
• Information Sharing : Provide detailed information about Aveda Institute's beauty and wellness programs, scholarship opportunities, and any other relevant aspects of the admissions process.
• Admissions Process Guidance : Guide qualified leads through the admissions process, from application submission to enrollment, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
• Data Management : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with prospective students in our CRM system.
• Continuous Learning : Stay updated with Aveda Institute's beauty and wellness programs, industry trends, and Aveda's mission to effectively address student inquiries.
• Team Collaboration : Collaborate closely with Admissions Advisors, Marketing, and other relevant departments to ensure a cohesive approach to student recruitment and admissions.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in sales, lead generation, or customer relationship management. Education or beauty industry is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Google Office Suite.
• A genuine passion for the beauty and wellness industry and helping students achieve their career goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00-$43,000.00 per year
