We are looking for an organized and enthusiastic Administrator to join our team! You will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative tasks and activities within the dept.
Key Responsibilities
Liaise with different departments for the coordination of purchases and sales
Schedule and manage freight expense and transport of trucks to ensure timely deliveries and manage ongoing cases
Administrative work to support the need of the department including invoicing, ticket management and purchase verification
Manage and record inventory stock
Manage BOL and any other documents required for shipments
Manage transport invoices, deliveries and relevant paperwork from the drivers to ensure accuracy of shipment
Advise of any discrepancies
Ensure correct material is being loaded onto the trucks
What will make you a valued member of our team?
High School Graduate
Post-secondary education in an administration or business program is an asset
Minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience
Customer service oriented, possess tact and judgement in dealing with difficult and demanding customers
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
Intermediate computer skills with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Must be able to respond to tight deadlines during regular and peak periods and to last-minute demands and requirements
Organized, detailed oriented, ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to work with little supervision
Possess problem analyses and solving skills including basic arithmetic computations
