About Us

We are a Calgary-based public accounting firm serving a broad mix of small business and owner-operator clients. We are a close-knit team (10 staff currently) dedicated to excellence, but we're also evolving--committed to building a client-first culture. We're seeking a Senior Accountant who is both technically strong and excited to help lead us into our next phase.

Role & Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

Lead

review engagements

,

compilations

, and oversee bookkeeping deliverables Prepare

personal

,

corporate

, (and trust/partnership, as needed) tax returns Handle CRA / tax authority correspondence and file resolution Supervise and mentor 1-2 junior accountants; review their work and assist in their development Act as a client contact--attend meetings, respond to client questions, and build rapport Manage multiple deadlines and workflow across client files Contribute to improving firm processes, systems, and client experience

Qualifications & Skills

CPA (or actively working toward the designation) At least

2 years of public practice

experience Familiarity (or ability to learn) with

Caseware, Sage 50, Xero, QuickBooks Desktop & Online, Profile, TaxDome

(assets) Strong technical skills in accounting, tax, and assurance Excellent

communication
