Voysus Connections Inc. is hiring a Junior HR Assistant to support our team on-site in a busy, fast-paced call center environment (100-150 employees). This is a part-time opportunity, ideal for someone looking to build their HR career through practical, in-office work alongside experienced Leaders.
You'll be involved in various aspects of human resources, including recruitment, payroll support, employee file management, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with maintaining employee records and documentation.
Support job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
Help with onboarding and orientation for new hires.
Assist in payroll preparation and data entry using Ceridian.
Respond to basic employee inquiries and provide HR support as needed.
Help organize training sessions, engagement activities, and staff communications.
Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in all HR documentation.
Provide general administrative support for ongoing HR tasks and projects.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Human Resources or related post-secondary program - HR Experience would definitely be an asset.
Familiarity with Ceridian or other HR/payroll systems is a strong asset.
Basic knowledge of employment standards and HR practices in Ontario.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Able to work on-site during scheduled hours.
