What is the opportunity:

Reporting to the Manager, Training Services, this position will reside at the reception/front counter area of Energy Safety Canada\xe2\x80\x99s Nisku office. Supporting the high-volume location specific demands of both external and internal stakeholders the position will handle stakeholder requests, provide administrative support to the Training Services Administrator\xe2\x80\x99s and the Training Services team, as well as support other administrative personnel, as required.

What will you do:

  • Front counter/reception support \xe2\x80\x93 point of contact for customers at the Nisku facility
  • General administrative duties including documentation of internal training resources and references and supporting the Manager, Training Services
  • Training Services Operational Management Manual (OMM) \xe2\x80\x93 includes document development, QA and management
  • Order fulfillment/ Customer Service/Certification/Training support, as required.
  • Admin Network support/back-up as required
  • Other duties as required
What you need to succeed:
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration/related field or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience
  • Proficient in MS Office suite \xe2\x80\x93 Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point
  • 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working in a customer service and/or administrative role
  • Excellent customer service skills, with an attention to patience and professionalism
  • Ability to sit for long periods, navigate multiple computer systems with repetitive motions and utilize devices typically found in an office environment
  • Moderate physical activity, required to safely bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Computer literate, ability to use a variety of software programs proficiently and fluently such as MS Office suite of products and iMIS
  • Exemplary interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Well organized and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
  • Must be able to work in a multi-task environment that is deadline driven
  • Ability to carry out tasks with minimal supervision
