Edmonton Zone Continuing Care provides services through five main program areas: Home Living, Supportive Living, Facility Living, Transition Services and Palliative Care. The Orientation Lead position is responsible for ensuring the orientation registration of Continuing Care employees meets the program\'s goals and objectives, while following established business processes and collective agreement provisions. The successful candidate will have advanced knowledge and skills within the MyLearningLink (MLL) application, and will act as a formal, specialized resource for employees by registering staff in the appropriate program orientation sessions. The AS V coaches and instructs staff on self-registration, ensuring adherence to workflow and the appropriate application of scheduling provisions based on the various collective agreements. This position will liaise with managers to investigate and resolve escalated orientation issues. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the facilitation of education and training of employees to support the orientation of new hires as well as employee performance and development plans. Furthermore, the AS V will help develop sustainable processes within the Staffing Services program to ensure orientation workflow is efficient and effective. This position will act as a role model for peers and must actively promote and facilitate a positive environment in the workplace by promoting and fostering a team attitude of acceptance and tolerance.Description:As an Administrative Support V, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).Please note:All postings close at 23:59 MT of the posting end date indicated.Security Screening:A satisfactory criminal record check and/or Vulnerable Sector Search is required prior to your first day of work.
