We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on Technical Supervisor (Admin V) - Logistics to lead and support the day-to-day operations of our dispatch and courier team. This role is critical to ensuring timely and efficient specimen transport by managing dispatch processes, monitoring courier performance, and troubleshooting operational issues as they arise. A key responsibility of this position is the creation, oversight, and optimization of daily route plans, including assisting with route builds and making real-time adjustments to improve delivery performance and meet stakeholder requirements. The Technical Supervisor will work closely with management to allocate workload efficiently, respond to shifting departmental priorities, and uphold compliance with all regulatory and company standards. In addition to supervising logistics staff, this role is responsible for training, mentoring, and supporting couriers to ensure adherence to processes and a consistent, high-quality service standard. The Technical Supervisor will collaborate closely with the logistics management team to maintain fleet health through regular inspections, maintenance scheduling, and timely repairs. Maintaining accurate service records and ensuring vehicle readiness is essential to operational success. This role also fosters seamless communication among dispatchers, couriers, and laboratory personnel to ensure smooth workflows and a strong focus on patient outcomes. 1-3 years of leadership or demonstrated progressive responsibility. Minimum 3 years' experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel in the last 5 years. Must hold a valid Class 5 Alberta Operator's License.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with dispatch or logistics software is preferred. Previous experience in logistics is preferred.
