Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the Clinical Manager of the IPOP - Post COVID Clinic the Administrative Support IV is a member of the inter-professional health care team supporting patients and families attending the Post COVID Clinic. The Administrative Support IV is a working level, multi-skilled position that supports a department, program or office. Working under minimal guidance and direction (there is only one Administrative support position in this clinic) the Administrative Support IV utilizes enhanced skills to perform varied and/or specialized activities. Additionally, the Administrative Support IV solves a range of problems with discretion to vary from established procedures. The incumbent must have enhanced problem solving and decision-making skills. The Incumbent with manage referrals and complete data entry. They will also: Manages various schedules by coordinating resources and determining appropriate timing and priority (e.g. scheduling multiple appointments in appropriate sequence, coordinating multiple stakeholders for appointments). Responds to difficult client / operational issues and complaints consistent with applicable processes, procedures and guideline. Registration, Scheduling and Appointment Confirmation. Editing and distributing clinic/referral letters. Connect Care Work queue and pools management as well as manage recall lists. Arranges for internal and external diagnostic tests and procedures for patients as required. This position will maintain accurate patient and clinic statistical data as required. The successful candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.

Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education. Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of a relevant certificate, degree, or training program (such as a Unit Clerk program or Medical Office Assistant program). Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position. Experience working in an Ambulatory clinic setting. Successful completion of a recognized course in medical terminology is required. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support-Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification. Proficiency with general computer programs (such as Word, Outlook, and Excel). Experience with the Connect Care. Experience processing referrals in Connect Care. Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced, time-sensitive organization. The ability to sit and complete computer work for extended periods of time. The ability to complete tasks independently and with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with multidisciplinary teams. Strong multi-tasking ability and strong conflict management and conflict resolution skills.
