If you are a positive, highly organized, results oriented professional, the Basic Life Support Program Administrator (Admin IV) position is for you! As the Basic Life Support (BLS) Program Administrator, you will use your excellent skills in planning, organization, communication, and coordination to support learners and instructors in the BLS program. You will be a valued member of the Clinical Transition Education (CTE) team and join us in supporting the confidence and competence of health care providers to deliver safe, quality care to patients and families. The CTE team reports through the Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) within Health Professions and Practice, a division dedicated to creating partnerships, innovation, and clinical best practice. Clinical Transition Education (CTE) is a dynamic virtual team working from multiple sites across Alberta. This position will support BLS education throughout Central Zone. As a BLS Program Administrator you will report to the Senior Practice Lead for BLS. You will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex practices and initiatives within our department. Specifically, you will Organize and schedule BLS training. This includes managing room/site bookings, scheduling instructors, completing payroll, providing ongoing communication to site leaders and instructors, and acting as a resource for instructors and learners. 2Order, maintain and distribute all supplies and equipment required for BLS training sessions. Perform daily data entry with high level of accuracy. Provide evaluation and reporting support for the BLS program. Work closely with and provide ongoing communication with the BLS instructors in your zone Assist in the overall implementation of the provincial BLS program and provide event coordination expertise to CTE leadership.

Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education. Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of a recognized post-secondary healthcare-related, business-related or IT technical program. Three or more years\' experience at an Administrative Assistant IV, Clerk IV, Unit Clerk, or IT technical position. Knowledge of CPR training, specifically the BLS course through Heart and Stroke. Intermediate skills with MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Excel). Experience with distance platforms such as Zoom. Experience with all aspects of organizing educational courses. Experience with staff scheduling Experience in e-people payroll functionality Outstanding interpersonal communication and organizational skills, including conflict resolution. Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities. Manage competing priorities with a high degree of efficiency. Ability to work within a virtual team effectively. Preferred Qualifications:

Background experience in education and/or events management. Experience with blended (online and in person) educational courses. Knowledge of CPR feedback devices. Knowledge of the Resuscitation Education Platform.
