Your Opportunity:

The Administrative Support IV position is regularly challenged with workload and ever-changing demands and timelines. The incumbent must be flexible, possess strong effective communication skills, and ability to work well under pressure with strong attention to detail. Under minimal direction and supervision, the role is responsible for providing a wide range of specialized administrative support to the Physician Contract and Remuneration Coordinator, Physician Affairs Coordinator, and Department Manager. Duties include but not limited to assisting with maintaining financial and operational documents, collecting and inputting information, data analysis, database maintenance, contract preparation, payment requisitions, account reconciliations, AMHSP physician reconciliation and reporting, processing of payables and receivable through both AHS and the University of Calgary. The role also assists with the collection and processing of privileging documents, and physician recruitment activities. The incumbent works within a team environment, yet is expected to work independently exercising judgement, tact, diplomacy, and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information. Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education. Additional Required Qualifications:

2 - 4 years professional experience in an intermediate administrative role. Advanced knowledge and skills in using standard computer software programs (demonstrated proficiency at an intermediate level in the use of computers/various networks and software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) to be assessed). 1 - 2 years of database management including the ability to manage data, compilation, and interpretation of data. 1 to 2 years\' experience analyzing and managing financial data in spreadsheets. Preferred Qualifications:

3 - 5 years professional experience in a health care setting. Accounting training/certification. Previous contract or privileging experience. Able to type 40 - 60 wpm (to be assessed).
