The Administrative Support IV position is regularly challenged with workload and ever-changing demands and timelines. The incumbent must be flexible, possess strong effective communication skills, and ability to work well under pressure with strong attention to detail. Under minimal direction and supervision, the role is responsible for providing a wide range of specialized administrative support to the Physician Contract and Remuneration Coordinator, Physician Affairs Coordinator, and Department Manager. Duties include but not limited to assisting with maintaining financial and operational documents, collecting and inputting information, data analysis, database maintenance, contract preparation, payment requisitions, account reconciliations, AMHSP physician reconciliation and reporting, processing of payables and receivable through both AHS and the University of Calgary. The role also assists with the collection and processing of privileging documents, and physician recruitment activities. The incumbent works within a team environment, yet is expected to work independently exercising judgement, tact, diplomacy, and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information.
