Your Opportunity:
Working in collaboration with a team of North Zone Public Health staff, the incumbent provides support for the Public Health electronic documentation tool (currently Meditech Care Manager) including membership on zone-wide and provincial working groups as assigned. Responsibilities include (and are not limited to) electronic submission of immunization records to appropriate Government of Alberta department, application trouble-shooting and end user support, compliance checking, and producing reports as required. As part of the Provincial Operations Team, the incumbent takes part in testing and subsequent recommendations for enhancements and updates to the electronic application. The incumbent must be able to work as a member of a team and without direct supervision, responding to emerging issues using discretion and independent judgement based on established guidelines. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
