CAGH is seeking a

part-time Administrative Support Consultant

to provide administrative and communications assistance for our organization. This part-time consultancy (average 10-15 hours per week) is ideal for someone with strong organizational and communication skills and experience and a passion for contributing to global health and health equity work from local to global

Position Title: Administrative Support Consultant

Reporting to: The CAGH Executive Committee

Work Location: Remote

Contract duration: September 1, 2025 - December 31, 2026 (with possibility of renewal)

Level of effort: Approximately 10-15 hours per week.

Compensation range $25-$35/hour commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities



Provide regular administrative support to the CAGH Board Executive committee. Respond to member and interest-holder email inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Organize and maintain key organizational documents. Schedule committee meetings and follow-up communications. Support the preparation of organizational reports and communication materials.

Qualifications



Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills. Demonstrated experience in administrative or coordination roles. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently in a remote setting. Proficiency in English is required; bilingualism in French (intermediate or higher) is a strong asset. Experience supporting charitable, nonprofit, or community-based organizations in Canada is an asset. Interest in global health and health equity issues in Canada and/or internationally is preferred.

Additional Information



This is a contract consultancy position (10-15 hours/week; schedule negotiated with the successful candidate). The consultant will collaborate regularly with CAGH's Interns, Financial Support Consultant, Events Manager and Board Executive. The consultant will report to the Board Executive Committee. Ideally the consultant will be available to attend the annual Canadian Conference on Global Health in person but otherwise this is a virtual work arrangement. Hourly rate will be commensurate with experience, it is expected to range from $25-$35/hour. The consultant will be paid monthly in Canadian dollars and will receive a T4A tax form annually. Payment of income tax will be the responsibility of the consultant. This is a part-time position. L'ACSM est a la recherche d'un consultant en soutien administratif a temps partiel pour fournir une assistance administrative et de communication a notre organisation. Ce poste a temps partiel (10 a 15 heures par semaine en moyenne) est ideal pour une personne possedant de solides competences et une grande experience en matiere d'organisation et de communication, ainsi qu'une passion pour la sante mondiale et l'equite en matiere de sante au Canada et a l'etranger.

Principales responsabilites



Fournir un soutien administratif regulier au comite executif du conseil d'administration de l'ACSM. Repondre aux demandes de renseignements des membres et des detenteurs d'interets par courriel de maniere rapide et professionnelle. Organiser et tenir a jour les documents cles de l'organisation. Planifier les reunions du comite et les communications de suivi. Contribuer a la preparation des rapports de l'organisation et des documents de communication.

Qualifications



Solides competences en matiere d'organisation, d'administration et de communication. Experience averee dans des fonctions administratives ou de coordination. Capacite a gerer plusieurs taches et priorites de maniere autonome dans un environnement eloigne. La maitrise de l'anglais est requise ; le bilinguisme en francais (niveau intermediaire ou superieur) est un atout majeur. Une experience de soutien a des organisations caritatives, a but non lucratif ou communautaires au Canada est un atout. Un interet pour les questions de sante mondiale et d'equite en matiere de sante au Canada et/ou a l'etranger est preferable.

Informations complementaires



Il s'agit d'un poste de consultant contractuel (10-15 heures par semaine ; horaire negocie avec le candidat retenu). Le consultant collaborera regulierement avec les stagiaires de l'ACSM, le consultant en soutien financier, le gestionnaire d'evenements et l'executif du conseil d'administration. Il rendra compte au comite executif du conseil d'administration. Idealement, le consultant sera disponible pour assister en personne a la conference canadienne annuelle sur la sante mondiale, mais dans le cas contraire, il s'agira d'un arrangement de travail virtuel. Le taux horaire sera proportionnel a l'experience, il devrait se situer entre 25$ et 30$ de l'heure. Le consultant sera paye mensuellement en dollars canadiens et recevra chaque annee un formulaire fiscal T4A. Le paiement de l'impot sur le revenu sera a la charge du consultant. Il s'agit d'un poste a temps partiel. L'ACSM accueille les personnes actuellement employees ailleurs qui souhaitent completer leur experience par un poste supplementaire a temps partiel.
