Position Applications are invited for an administrative research assistant position within the ENhancing Age Care Transition (ENACT) Quality program, led by Dr. Kaitlyn Tate. I am seeking an administrative research assistant to support ongoing research projects, publications, presentations and grant applications. The role will include providing administrative support related to preparing documents for internal program use, manuscripts for publication, formatting presentations, organizing program calendars and facilitating communications among team members and research partners.

Duties
  • Performs word processing and relevant data entry for the program
  • Prepares and types letters, emails and other related correspondence
  • Provides administrative support to build program infrastructure (e.g. organizing file folders, formatting and submitting manuscripts for submission to academic journals, participating in developing a handbook for the research program, CV and resume management)
  • Produces technical, graphic and/or slide presentations for teaching or research purposes
  • Assist with initial annual report online entry
  • Enters travel and expense claims as required
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience as an administrative assistant or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Demonstrated skills in data visualization & presentation, and reporting (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare settings
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of and experience working in continuing care settings
