High Country Mechanical is a locally owned and operated HVAC company serving central and northern Nova Scotia. We specialize in high?efficiency Fujitsu AIRSTAGE heat pumps, ventilation systems, and mechanical solutions for residential and light commercial clients.

Position Overview



We're looking for an

Administrative Operations Coordinator to join our office team and support day?to?day administrative and operational tasks. Working closely with our Office Manager and Business Development Specialist, this role focuses on execution, organization, and follow?through across accounting support, data entry, and internal processes.

This is a non?management role and is a great fit for someone who enjoys staying organized, working with systems and numbers, and contributing to a well?run operation in a team?focused environment.

What You'll Be Doing



Support daily office and administrative operations Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks Enter invoices, payments, and data into Sage 50 Accounting Help with customer invoicing and follow?up on outstanding balances Process supplier invoices and assist with payment preparation Maintain accurate digital and physical records Complete data entry and support internal reporting Assist with onboarding paperwork, employee records, and timesheet tracking Support internal documentation, forms, and office systems Communicate professionally with staff, customers, and suppliers as needed

What We're Looking For



Previous experience in an administrative or office support role Comfort working with numbers, data entry, and accounting?related tasks Experience with accounting software (Sage 50 is an asset) Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks Comfortable working in a fast?paced office environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional and discreet when handling confidential information

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
