The Criminal Property Forfeiture Branch within the Justice Department is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Administrative Forfeiture Coordinator.

Qualifications:
Essential:
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with experience managing constantly changing and conflicting priorities
• Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Teams, Access, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe, or other equivalent computerized software applications
• Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, make decisions, and exercise independent judgment
• Excellent written communication skills including experience producing professional-quality documents for distribution to the public, and drafting legal documents such as affidavits, memos, and other forms of correspondence with a high degree of accuracy to meet strict deadlines
• Extensive experience working with and managing highly confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner with both internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent verbal communication skills to convey clear and effective messages to a broad range of stakeholders, including experience communicating with senior investigators on sensitive topics
• Experience interpreting and applying policies, acts, and/or legislation in a professional setting
• Experience conducting administrative investigations including exceptional analytical, and research skills
• Strong attention to detail with experience entering data and maintaining database systems
Duties:
The Administrative Forfeiture Coordinator is responsible for providing coordination and support for the administrative forfeiture program. This includes receiving information from the manager, other branch staff and members of law enforcement, specifically related to the administrative forfeiture program. Once received, the coordinator is required to organize, prepare and draft legal (and other documentation) along with tracking all aspects of administrative forfeiture proceedings.
