Summary:



We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator student to join the Workforce Engagement Management (WEM) team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our software engineering team to provide support for employee engagement and oversee a range of tasks. You will report directly to the Director of Development, WEM. Your responsibilities will include managing our local internship program; supporting new employee onboarding; organizing office engagement activities and engineering events; gathering and analyzing hiring data; and preparing staffing reports for the global WEM organization. Hours of Work:

The standard work week will be Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am to 5:00pm. We are open to part-time arrangements.

As an Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for administrative duties to support hiring, onboarding, engagement, and engineering management. You will also assist and support local office activities.

We are open to a flexible schedule. Some of your work responsibilities will require a physical presence in our office (located in the Markham area or nearby).




Job Responsibilities:


  • Manage the WEM Canada internship program

  • Coordinate recruiting, hiring, and onboarding for interns

  • Order food, set up meetings and organize employee engagement activities like social hours, hackathons, and all-hands meetings

  • Analyze staffing and hiring data to generate regular reports and metrics (Excel)



  • Support hiring managers, filter resumes, communicate with candidates, schedule interviews, and maintain recruiting metrics

  • Assist with office administrative tasks like ordering supplies and handling purchase orders




Required Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills



  • Exceptionally organized, self-motivated, meticulous, and detail-oriented

  • Ability to understand and present statistical data related to staffing

  • Ability to manage competing priorities

  • Ability to take the initiative to solve problems and drive results

  • Maintain a friendly and positive attitude, and an elevated level of professionalism



  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
