The Holocaust Survivor Memoirs Program was established by the Azrieli Foundation in 2005 to collect, preserve and share the memoirs and diaries written by survivors of the Holocaust who came to Canada. POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to both the Director and the Managing Editor of the Holocaust Survivor Memoirs Program, the Administrative Coordinator will carry out administrative tasks to support the program as needed. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Administrative Support: 60% \xc2\xb7 Maintaining a comprehensive, accurate and current list of individual teachers, schools and libraries that have ordered resources; \xc2\xb7 Updating and maintaining author information; \xc2\xb7 Coordinating ebook data and distribution; \xc2\xb7 Maintaining and organizing memoirs and manuscript database; \xc2\xb7 Administrative assistance to the Director in support of all program related activities; \xc2\xb7 Administrative assistance to the Managing Editor in support of all publishing related activities; and \xc2\xb7 Supporting education and academic initiatives as needed. Logistics Support and other Duties: 40% \xc2\xb7 Maintaining book inventory and coordinating distribution in-house or with warehouse as needed; \xc2\xb7 Fielding phone calls and emails regarding book distribution, manuscript submissions and event logistics ; \xc2\xb7 Coordinating ebook data and distribution; \xc2\xb7 Supporting all aspects of event coordination both online and in person; and \xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: \xc2\xb7 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 progressive work experience in administration \xc2\xb7 Highly developed administration and organizational skills \xc2\xb7 Excellent oral and written communication skills \xc2\xb7 Attention to detail and accuracy \xc2\xb7 Strong command of MS office, particularly MS Excel and FileMaker \xc2\xb7 Experience with content management systems; \xc2\xb7 Capacity to work well independently and as part of a team \xc2\xb7 Prioritization and time management skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to work occasional evening or weekend hours to support events \xc2\xb7 Capable of lifting 30-40 pounds is an asset \xc2\xb7 French Language proficiency an asset Applicants Interested applicants are invited to submit a cover letter and resume via email: hr@azrielifoundation.org.
